Joe Mazzulla on recent tension between Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum: 'Nobody is perfect'

Boston Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla addressed recent tension between former teammates Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, while stressing that the team’s focus is on its current roster. Mazzulla said he remains grateful for Brown’s achievements with the franchise, but emphasized that “nobody is perfect” and everyone can improve. He described Brown and Tatum as different in style and approach, and said the Celtics are concentrating on Tatum—“our guy”—because he plays for the team now. The remarks follow a summer trade sending Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers and renewed public comments, including Brown’s response to a Tatum video.
