MoonLake announces Week 52 results of Phase 3 VELA-1, VELA-2 trials

MoonLake Immunotherapeutics has released Week 52 results from its Phase 3 VELA-1 and VELA-2 trials of SLK (obrixtamig? reported as SLK in the study) in patients with moderate-to-severe HS. The company said Week 52 data showed consistent and further improvement in all clinical scores compared with Week 16. Across both trials, 67.2% of patients treated with SLK achieved HiSCR75 and 33.1% achieved HiSCR100 at Week 52. Inflammatory remission was reflected by an IHS4-100 response in 26.0% of patients, defined by a 100% reduction in abscesses, nodules and draining tunnels. MoonLake will host an Investor Day webcast on June 22, 2026, with open Q&A, as its long-term VELA results are positioned as higher than prior Phase 3 HS programs and competitive versus an IL-17A/F monoclonal antibody.
