Mother, 7-Month-Old Daughter Taken To Hospital After Tractor-Trailer Crash In White Plains

A mother and her 7-month-old daughter were taken to UM Charles Regional Medical Center after a tractor-trailer crash with a passenger vehicle in White Plains. The crash was reported around 12:40 p.m. on Aug. 31, 2026 near the intersection of Crain Highway and Demarr Road. Dispatch information initially said the tractor-trailer driver rear-ended a Honda Civic. Crews were told a woman inside the car complained of neck and back pain and that a child was also inside. The injured were identified as a 32-year-old woman and her 7-month-old daughter. The woman’s injuries were described as non-life-threatening, and no serious injuries were reported for the infant. The crash is under investigation.
