Motorcyclist collides with parked vehicle: VPD

A motorcyclist crashed into a parked vehicle early Saturday morning in Vancouver, police said. The incident happened at around 2:40 a.m. at the intersection of Cambie Street and 35th Avenue, according to the Vancouver Police Department (VPD), which was called to the scene. The rider struck the rear end of a white Volkswagen Golf. BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) arrived around 4 a.m. to treat the injured motorcyclist. In a statement, BCEHS said paramedics provided emergency medical care and transported one patient to hospital in serious condition.
