Nearly 30,000 pounds of Argentine beef sold in Texas, Florida recalled by Miami-area company

Federal officials have ordered a recall of nearly 30,000 pounds of raw Argentine beef sold in Texas and Florida. The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said Corte Argentino, a company based in Aventura, Florida, recalled products made in May with use-or-freeze-by dates between Sept. 15, 2026, and Sept. 20, 2026. FSIS reported the beef was imported without being re-inspected at entry. Five boneless beef items in cardboard boxes of varying weights and bearing the “FrigorIfico Gorina SAIC” brand were affected, including “Top Sirloin Butt,” “Eye Round,” “Topside Cap Off,” “Flat,” and “Knuckle.” FSIS said no illnesses have been reported and advised consumers to discard or return the products.
