New ER doctor joins Cabinet Peaks Medical Center
New ER doctor joins Cabinet Peaks Medical Center to expand 24/7 Emergency Department coverage in Northwest Montana. On Jul. 10, the hospital announced the addition of Katelynn Bailey, DO, to its Emergency Department team in Libby. Board-certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Bailey previously worked at Great Falls Clinic from November 2022 to April 2024 and practiced in Alaska at South Peninsula Hospital starting May 2024. She relocated to Libby from Homer, Alaska, with her husband. Cabinet Peaks Medical Center CEO Tadd Greenfield said Bailey’s rural-emergency focus and commitment to patient-centered care strengthen the hospital’s ability to serve residents and visitors, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The hospital framed the hire as part of ongoing recruitment to care close to where patients live.
