Ontario man gets 10 years in prison for involvement in one of P.E.I's largest drug busts
An Ontario man received a 10-year prison sentence for his role in one of Prince Edward Island’s largest drug busts. Jabari London, 22, pleaded guilty earlier this year to drug trafficking charges after police arrested him in March 2025 alongside Kimberly Elbourne and Angel Barnett, all from Ontario. During a traffic stop on March 10 involving a black Hyundai rental from Ontario, police found London, Elbourne and Barnett inside and later executed a search warrant at a Stratford residence where the trio were staying. Authorities seized about a kilogram of fentanyl, 2.8 kilograms of crystal meth, 763 grams of cocaine, and $5,800 in cash. Police said the seizure was among the largest in the province, with an estimated street value of $665,000. At sentencing Thursday, the federal Crown attorney cited fentanyl as the “gravest charge,” and London received concurrent terms: 10 years for fentanyl, seven for methamphetamine, and five for cocaine. Elbourne and Barnett are scheduled to appear in court in August.
