New physicians welcomed to Brightshores Health System

Brightshores Health System welcomed 14 new physicians, expanding specialties that include Medical Oncology, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Neurology, Psychiatry, Surgery, and Anesthesiology. Ann Ford, president and CEO of Brightshores, said the hires strengthen access to high-quality care “close to home” as community needs evolve, and noted that several physicians chose a practice model including family medicine to address a critical need in Grey Bruce while linking hospital and community-based care. Dr. Michael Williams, vice president of medical affairs, said the recruitment momentum reflects a system built to be strong, connected, and prepared for Grey Bruce. So far, 12 have joined, with two more scheduled for the fall.
