Reny wants to address affordability in bid for Senate District 13
Sen. Cameron Reny, D-Bristol, is seeking a third term in Maine’s Senate District 13, where she faces Republican challenger Edwin W. Mitchell, I-Boothbay. District 13 includes all of Lincoln County except Dresden, and includes Washington and Windsor. Reny said she wants to continue work she began across two terms, emphasizing public service and giving local kids “a shot at a life here.” A lifelong Bristol resident, she earned a community and justice studies degree at Guilford College and a master’s in school counseling from the University of Southern Maine. Her prior career included roles as a school counselor in Biddeford, South Bristol, and Woolwich Central, plus leadership in the Maine School Counseling Association. If reelected, Reny says she wants to maintain efforts to shield Maine from federal uncertainty.
