Santa Ynez Tribal Health Clinic to Salute Veterans with Free Dental Services at Annual 'Veterans Smile Day' Event

Santa Ynez Tribal Health Clinic (SYTHC) will honor veterans with free dental care at its fourth annual “Veterans Smile Day” on Thursday, Nov. 5, at the clinic’s Dental Department on the Santa Ynez Reservation. The event requires appointments and welcomes new patients. Veterans will receive complimentary dental exams, professional cleanings, oral health assessments, and screenings for blood pressure and diabetes. After their appointments, attendees get gift bags with oral hygiene products and a military pin, plus pastries and refreshments. More than 20 veterans received services at last year’s event. SYTHC accepts Medicare, Medi-Cal, and major insurance plans.
