Sebela Pharmaceuticals to Present Positive Phase 3 Tegoprazan Data in Non-Erosive Reflux Disease (NERD) at the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) 2026 Meeting
Sebela Pharmaceuticals says it will present positive Phase 3 results for tegoprazan in non-erosive reflux disease (NERD) at the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) 2026 meeting. The company’s TRIUMpH-NERD trial, a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled U.S. study (NCT05587322), enrolled 783 adults with symptomatic NERD and tested 50 mg and 100 mg tegoprazan once daily versus placebo for four weeks. Data showed statistically significant improvements through week 4 in 24-hour heartburn-free days and days without nighttime heartburn versus placebo, with effects starting Day 1 and continuing through a 20-week extension. Sebela also highlighted an ACG Presidential Award for post hoc TRIUMpH erosive esophagitis analysis using Lyon 2.0 criteria.
