Sen. Jack Bailey Highlights Record In Southern Maryland
Sen. Jack Bailey, a Republican representing Maryland’s District 29, is seeking another term and is highlighting local projects and services he supported since taking office in 2019. The Southern Maryland senator, a retired Maryland Natural Resources Police officer, emphasizes his background protecting waterways and communities over three decades and his current role on the Budget and Taxation Committee. Bailey says he was the lead sponsor of 67 bills that passed Maryland’s General Assembly and helped secure more than $350 million in state funding across eight legislative sessions. His campaign points to upgrades for hospitals, oversight improvements at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home, and funding for organizations including the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Maryland and the Greenwell Foundation.
