Who is on the ballot to succeed U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens?
Five candidates are running for Michigan’s 11th Congressional District seat in the Nov. 3 election, seeking to succeed U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens. The field includes Jeremy Moss, a Bloomfield Township Democrat and state senator; Ethan Baker, a Troy Republican; Farid Ishac, a Waterford Township Libertarian; Ryan Teasdale of Waterford for the Green Party; and Dr. Anil Kumar, a West Bloomfield urologist running as an independent. The district’s representative serves a two-year term. MLive partnered with the nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Michigan Education Fund for a VOTE411 guide. Four candidates responded on issues including healthcare, affordability, energy, immigration and constitutional rights, with answers submitted directly and only minimally edited.
