Brewers took aim at Shohei Ohtani with pointed celebration choice after beating Dodgers
The Milwaukee Brewers swept the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS, eliminating the defending World Series champions and snapping Los Angeles’ hopes of a third straight title. In Thursday’s 6–4 win at Dodger Stadium, Milwaukee celebrated its first Fall Classic berth since 1982 in the visiting clubhouse—and, according to FOX Sports, played Michael Bublé’s “Feeling Good,” which is Shohei Ohtani’s walk-up song. Ohtani’s contributions weren’t enough: he went 1-for-4 with three strikeouts, including a costly seventh-inning strikeout against Aaron Ashby with the tying run on third. After Ohtani’s three-run homer off Dustin May gave the Dodgers a 4–0 lead, the Brewers scored six unanswered, sparked by Jake Bauers’ response and Garrett Mitchell’s go-ahead homer in the sixth. David Hamilton added an insurance shot in the ninth.
