Chiefs Injury News: Chamarri Conner, Josh Simmons Outlooks for SNF

Ahead of a Sunday Night Football matchup at home versus the Indianapolis Colts, the Kansas City Chiefs received another injury update with a key safety and offensive lineman still sidelined. Head coach Andy Reid said safety Chamarri Conner (knee) and left tackle Josh Simmons (back) missed practice again and are expected to miss the game; Reid indicated they will most likely be listed as out. Rookie cornerback Mansoor Delane (shoulder) practiced and defensive tackle Chris Jones (calf) did some work, both trending toward availability. Reid also said Conner is improving but without a timeline, while Simmons is at a “two-week mark” and will be reevaluated.
