David Raya Refutes 'Boring Arsenal' Claims

David Raya dismissed claims that Arsenal’s season has been “boring.” Ahead of the Champions League trip on matchday three to face Bayern Munich, the goalkeeper said criticism from media and rival fans doesn’t affect him or the dressing room. Raya pointed to results, saying Arsenal have lost just one game in 11 this season, adding that calling it boring or irritating is hard to understand given the team’s daily focus on winning. He also addressed questions about Arsenal’s attacking output versus their defense, noting the Gunners rank fifth for goals scored in the Premier League despite having the best “goals against” record and strong expected goals performance. Raya added that improvement is needed across defense and attack.
