Frozen berries sold at Walmart recalled due to possible E. coli contamination: FDA

The FDA has expanded a recall of Great Value Frozen Organic Triple Berry Blend due to a possible E. coli contamination risk. The affected item is a 10-ounce package containing strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries, with a “best if used by” date of February 9, 2028. It was sold at Walmart stores in 16 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, and Wisconsin. The FDA said there have been no illness reports so far. Consumers are told not to eat the product and to return it for a full refund.
