Gen Z entrepreneur builds connections with snail mail club

Kiki Klassen, a 29-year-old Gen Z entrepreneur in St. Catharines, Ontario, has turned “snail mail” into a subscription business that caters to people who want connection without digital overload. Since October 2024, her Lucky Duck Mail Club has offered members a monthly letter plus an original art print and an inspiring quote. For $7 per month, subscribers receive the letter and print; premium members pay $15 and also get a sheet of stickers and a special mystery sticker. The club has grown to more than 1,000 members worldwide and has been featured by CNBC Make It, The Associated Press, and CBC Radio. Klassen, formerly a social media manager, says the appeal is grounding, with no AI involved.
