Harding began the Roddy Mote era with a statement win Thursday night, crushing Northwestern Oklahoma State 76-0 at First Security Stadium in Searcy. The Bisons totaled 747 yards of offense and 608 rushing, breaking the program’s single-game points record while extending their home winning run to 25 straight and their head-to-head streak to 15 consecutive meetings. Harding, ranked No. 2 in NCAA Division II, also kept the Rangers to minus-26 yards and denied them any first downs. The game was called at 13:15 in the fourth quarter after a lengthy delay following an incident along the sideline that required emergency medical attention for a Harding player, who was later transported to a local hospital.
