Jukebox car club celebrates 25 years in style highlighted a major anniversary car show organized by the Jukebox Cruisers Car Club of Jim Thorpe. The event took place Saturday in near-perfect weather on the grounds of Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, 2110 Canal St., Northampton, marking the club’s 25th year. Organizers showcased a broad range of well-kept vehicles, from a 1955 and 1957 Chevy to older models such as a 1936 Nash Lafayette, a 1940 Ford Deluxe and a 1963 VW dune buggy. The day included music, food and vendor stalls, with local businesses such as Gooch Coop LLC and Mom’s Kitchen offering baked goods and cookies. Representatives from the Zinc City Motorcycle Club distributed literature, while Char Wills German Shepherd Rescue promoted its work. Part of registration fees supported a special-needs fishing derby.
