Little Miss Sunshine stars share why they believe film is the 'most dangerous movie ever made'

Cast members from Little Miss Sunshine reflected on how the 2006 road-trip indie was made with loose safety practices, calling it “the most dangerous movie ever made.” At a Sundance conversation about the film’s 20th anniversary, Greg Kinnear, Toni Collette, Paul Dano and Abigail Breslin told People that rehearsals included risky behavior. Kinnear, now 63, joked that it was the “most dangerous” because there might have been only one follow car. He said he actually drove every van scene while directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris “contorted” in the vehicle listening through headsets. Dano also claimed Kinnear broke a traffic law during rehearsals, driving through a full red light while Alan Arkin stayed in the van, and added that no one wore seatbelts.
