The Mets’ farm system got a rough night across multiple levels on 8/1/26, with losses in Syracuse, Binghamton, Brooklyn and St. Lucie. Triple-A Syracuse fell 10-1 to Rochester despite one Mets run created when Ji Hwan Bae drove in a run; Syracuse also walked four times and stole two bases. In Double-A, Reading beat Binghamton 6-5 in a walk-off, with Chris Suero, Nick Lorusso and JT Schwartz hitting homers, while R.J. Gordon went seven innings with seven strikeouts. High-A Brooklyn was routed 14-4 by Winston-Salem, and Low-A St. Lucie lost 5-0 to Dunedin after Christian Rodriguez surrendered five runs in the eighth.
