More Than 90 Per Cent Of Gaza Strip Destroyed After Three Years Of Genocide

A report cited by Malaysia’s Palestinian Cultural Organisation Malaysia (PCOM) says more than 90% of Gaza Strip property and infrastructure has been destroyed during three years of war since Oct. 7, 2023. The assessment, attributed to the Gaza Government Media Office, estimates at least 74,250 deaths over the period, including 21,976 children, and reports about 9,500 missing under rubble. It claims more than 230,000 tonnes of explosives were dropped, with over 80% of the territory under Israeli control, and describes repeated targeting of the Al-Mawasi area marked as a “safe zone” 287 times. The report also says 38 hospitals and 96 primary care centers are destroyed or non-operational.
