Trump Seeks to Boost Georgia Voters at Rally With Early Voting Underway

President Donald Trump flew aboard Marine One to the Dalton Municipal Airport in northwest Georgia on Friday, rallying with hundreds of supporters and pushing early voting as the midterm elections approach. Speaking at the event, Trump highlighted Republican candidates for Georgia’s two key races: the Senate and the governor’s seat. He urged voters to send Sen. Jon Ossoff’s Republican opponent, Mike Collins, to Washington and backed Rick Jackson for governor. Security personnel removed protesters during the speech. Trump’s comments also drew comparisons to political opponents and emphasized turnout, telling attendees to bring family and friends to vote early or on Nov. 3.
