Move over, Shohei! Two adorable baby raccoons steal show at Dodger Stadium
A viral moment at Dodger Stadium on Tuesday briefly shifted attention away from the field’s headline star. Television cameras captured two baby raccoons hiding along the outfield wall on the warning track, and the clip spread rapidly across TikTok, Instagram, and X. The game itself saw the Colorado Rockies erase a 3-1 Dodgers deficit in the top of the eighth inning with a three-run rally driven by two Dodgers errors, then win 4-3. Despite the loss, Shohei Ohtani logged a historic milestone by hitting his 300th home run in the first inning. After the two raccoons became the center of social media attention, fans joked and speculated about their origins while the Dodgers maintained baseball’s best record at 60-33 and a 14-game lead in the NL West.
