Elon Musk will not face criminal charges after La Crosse County District Attorney Tim Gruenke reviewed complaints forwarded from the Wisconsin Elections Commission, according to the report. The allegations claimed Musk attempted to bribe voters with two $1 million checks handed to people at a rally ahead of the state’s 2025 Supreme Court election. The checks were reportedly given to Ekaterina Diestler and Nicholas Jacobs, chairman of the Wisconsin College Republicans. Gruenke’s office said it completed the review of the complaints, and Musk will not be charged. The decision centers specifically on whether the payments tied to the rally met a threshold for a criminal matter under Wisconsin law.
