Newcastle United Women Start Their Push For Promotion With 5 Wins From 5

Newcastle United Women have started their promotion push with five straight wins, taking maximum points from their opening five matches and setting a 100% record. The unbeaten run gives the “Lasses” an early warning to rivals that their ambitions extend beyond merely competing in Women’s Super League 2. While there’s still a long season ahead, the early consistency matters: promotion battles are often decided by points accumulation rather than standout individual results. Newcastle have also used the wins to build confidence and create pressure around the promotion places as the campaign moves into more demanding stages.
