Painful: Raheem Sterling is offered to two clubs, but is told 'no'

Raheem Sterling’s search for a new club is reportedly stalling. Foot Mercato says the 31-year-old forward has been offered to two French teams recently, but both declined. One of them is Le Havre AC, currently 18th in the league; the second club was not identified. The report says both sides passed on Sterling because they already have enough options in his position, while “other, more exotic possibilities” remain available. Sterling left Feyenoord after a short, disappointing spell: he recorded one assist in eight official matches after joining in mid-February. Since July 1, he has remained without a club and has not even secured a move after two attempts in Ligue 1.
