Rocket Classic 2026 Purse: How Much Does the Winner Make

The PGA Tour heads back to Detroit Golf Club this week for the 2026 Rocket Classic, where the winner will take home a major share of a $10 million purse. The prize fund matches the event’s recent total and keeps the tournament among the bigger regular-season paydays. Defending champion Aldrich Potgieter returns after winning last year’s Rocket Classic in a five-hole playoff against Max Greyserman and Chris Kirk. The 2026 edition will also be the last, after Rocket Companies decided not to renew sponsorship beyond this season. From 2027, the Tour replaces Detroit with a new event at Silverado Resort in Napa, sponsored by Sompo. After Detroit, the schedule continues with the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro before the FedExCup Playoffs begin.
