Video: Gordon Ryan involved in huge brawl at ADCC: 'Thanks to the Kazakh guys for the scrap'

Gordon Ryan was at the center of a major brawl during this year’s ADCC, part of the run-up to the 2026 Abu Dhabi Combat Club world championships in Krakow, Poland. Ryan is not competing; he’s coaching Dorian Olivarez. In the opening round, Olivarez beat Bezkat Kapashov in a highly physical match, then both teams confronted each other. Ryan was briefly hit by multiple assailants before the situation was dispersed. No major injuries appeared to have resulted. Shortly after, both Olivarez and Kapashov were disqualified, and Ryan returned to cornering. He later addressed it on Instagram.
