Watch: Spanish Far-Left Rioters Crash Right-Wing Rally

Violent protesters attempted to crash a rally led by Santiago Abascal, leader of the anti-immigration VOX party, in A Coruña, Galicia, on Wednesday. Clashes broke out between the rioters and Spanish National Police, with at least two people detained and roughly a dozen officers injured. Hours later, the same leftist groups staged another protest against police over the earlier unrest, leading to more overnight clashes. Abascal accused Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s government of “allowing” the violence. The rally took place at the central María Pita square near A Coruña’s city hall, with Spanish media reporting a nearby anti-VOX protest organized by groups describing themselves as “anti-fascists.”
