Welland fight back twice to snatch thrilling draw with leaders

Hereford started strongly and created repeated openings, helped by quick ball movement, yet Welland’s defending held firm. The visitors broke through from the penalty spot after a mistimed tackle sent their striker down inside the area. Dan Chessman played a key role as Welland equalised before the break, with Dylan Jaff tapping in after Leo Goddard’s pass. A late surge secured Welland’s point as Connor Fleming struck from 35 yards and Jack Sampson levelled with minutes remaining.
