Wyoming Offensive Line Coach Joe Tripodi
Wyoming offensive line coach Joe Tripodi is set to face Central Michigan this Saturday, 120 miles north of his hometown of Chelsea, Michigan. While the trip is geographically close, Tripodi isn’t treating it as a homecoming; most of his family no longer lives nearby, and his connection to Central Michigan dates to his nine-year stint at Northern Illinois. In an early-season snapshot, Wyoming’s young front includes first-time FBS starters Kalvin Janssen, Jason Maciejczak and Giovanni Panozzo, with Josiah Petaia also getting time. Tripodi said the group is improving through reps despite youth, inexperience and concerns tied to an injury. He backed Jonathan Bush at center after a late Saturday appearance and said Chandler Donaway returned with leadership and about 43 snaps, aiming for more.
