Discussion of Mechanisms for Organizing Grape Marketing in Bani Hushaysh reports a government-led meeting focused on how to manage the grape crop’s marketing for the current season in Bani Hushaysh District. The session was chaired by Mohsen Atef, Deputy Minister for the Marketing Sector at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources. Participants included Mohammed Saree, Deputy Secretary of the Capital Secretariat for Agricultural Affairs, Rajih Al-Hanami, Director of Bani Hushaysh District, and Engineer Ali Al-Qairi, Head of the Agricultural Sector in Sana’a Governorate. Officials emphasized harvest and post-harvest procedures, particularly systematic packing of grapes according to approved specifications. They also discussed organizing product flow to markets to reduce congestion and support price stability, including the method of spreading grape baskets to maintain quality and strengthen confidence. The Deputy Minister said the ministry prioritizes organizing marketing for agricultural crops, highlighting Yemeni grapes as an important economic product. The Capital Secretariat deputy secretary said local authorities will coordinate to ensure smooth delivery through the secretariat’s markets.
