IDW's You'll Never Leave This Place Alive Is One of the Year's Best Horror Comics (Exclusive)

IDW Publishing will release You’ll Never Leave This Place Alive, a new horror comic framed by paranoia and dread and positioned as a key entry in its IDW Dark imprint. The series blends horror with coming-of-age themes, centering on five friends raised in a secluded community that promises safety and excellence—until graduation when one of them dies under impossible circumstances. Writers Jackson Lanzing and Collin Kelly team up with artist Heather Vaughan. IDW describes the premise as a “cage” rather than a sanctuary, with a socially conscious horror mystery that makes readers question reality. The publisher says more licensed and original titles will follow in the months ahead.
