Inde Navarrette is ready to 'shave her head' for The Waffle House Index

Inde Navarrette says she’s willing to “shave her head” to look different for The Waffle House Index, after attaching herself to the project. The 25-year-old actress, known for playing Nikki in Obsession, wants her on-screen characters to diverge from her everyday appearance and cited options ranging from major weight changes to eyebrow piercings and shaving her head. The sci-fi thriller is set around a Waffle House waitress who faces a nightmare shift even before a stranger with a gun arrives, before escalating into events that include a mass flood, killer crocodiles, a nuclear explosion, aliens, and a magical bunker under the restaurant. The film’s title references the real-life hurricane severity metric based on how Waffle House locations cope. Navarrette also discussed having “freedom” as an actor, and is attached to play Rogue in an upcoming X-Men reboot.
