Mike Evans shares real story behind hilarious jersey check of Trevon Diggs

The San Francisco 49ers improved to 5-0 in Week 5 with a win over the Seattle Seahawks, and one viral moment stole the spotlight: Mike Evans checking the jersey of Seahawks cornerback Trevon Diggs. Evans later told reporters via KNBR that he didn’t recognize Diggs at first. He said he was “blocking him until the whistle,” then heard something during their trash talk, asked “Who are you?” and only after looking confirmed it was Diggs. The exchange was broadcast, and Diggs shoved Evans afterward. Diggs has bounced recently, including cuts by Dallas and Green Bay, before joining Seattle as depth.
