Around 100 firefighters tackle Golders Green blaze

Around 100 firefighters are tackling a blaze at a supermarket with flats above it in north-west London. The London Fire Brigade (LFB) received the first of 56 calls shortly after 06:45 BST to a three-storey building on Golders Green Road in Golders Green which it says is producing a significant amount of smoke. LFB has advised people in the area to keep their windows and doors shut as 15 fire engines from Willesden, Finchley and West Hampstead tackle the blaze. A number of road closures are in place, including on Golders Green Road near the junction with Beverley Gardens. The cause of the fire is unknown.
