Oklo Stock Rises as Google's 20-Year Constellation Deal Lifts Nuclear Stocks - Oklo (NYSE:OKLO)
xCruzo Brief
Oklo Inc. shares rose Tuesday as nuclear stocks rallied after Alphabet’s 20-year deal with Constellation Energy to add 890 megawatts (MW) of nuclear capacity to the PJM Interconnection grid. The agreement will fund upgrades to 11 Constellation-owned nuclear units across Illinois, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with the first increment expected by 2028. Google also signed a separate 15-year pact covering 2,700 MW from Constellation’s existing PJM fleet. Amazon signed its own 20-year Constellation deal for 190 MW. Combined, the contracts fund 1,080 MW, about 16% of PJM’s 6,831 MW shortfall after its latest capacity auction. Oklo was not a party to the deals.
