Opendoor Jumps 7%, Offerpad Rises 6% as iBuyer Stocks Rally
Opendoor Jumps 7%, Offerpad Rises 6% as iBuyer Stocks Rally reflected a synchronized surge in beaten-down iBuyer shares during a choppy real-estate session. Opendoor Technologies (NASDAQ: OPEN) rose 7% to $4.96 around midday, while Offerpad Solutions (NYSE: OPAD) climbed 6% to $5.26. The move came without a single clearly stated catalyst, aligning instead with momentum, retail-driven activity, and recent Russell 2000/3000 inclusion flows. Financials remain mixed: Opendoor reported Q1 2026 revenue of $720 million, down 38% year over year, and a GAAP net loss of $173 million, though gross margin expanded to 10% from 9%. Offerpad’s Q1 2026 revenue was $80.08 million, down 50% YoY, with a net loss narrowing to $10.1 million. Zillow rose 5% to $33.25, while Rocket Companies gained 2% to $16.08.
