Patriots' Mike Vrabel shares update on A.J. Brown, other key injuries
New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel said wide receiver A.J. Brown, defensive tackle Christian Barmore, and running back TreVeyon Henderson will not practice Wednesday, according to a report from Patriots Wire’s Sophie Weller. Brown is dealing with a high ankle sprain from the Week 1 game against the Seattle Seahawks and a flare-up of an ongoing knee injury. The wideout missed multiple practices and also sat out last Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins. When asked whether Brown could return to injured reserve, Vrabel declined to speculate, saying he could only comment on his status for that day. The Patriots face the Green Bay Packers this week, with the injury situation potentially limiting offensive weapons for quarterback Drake Maye and weakening a defensive unit if Barmore remains out.
