Rare crisps flavour returns to UK supermarket shelves after months away
xCruzo Brief
Aldi has brought back its Black Truffle crisps to UK supermarket shelves after months away, just in time for the festive season. The product, branded as Specially Selected Black Truffle Hand Cooked Crisps, is part of Aldi’s limited-edition Christmas crisp range and is available while stocks last. Fans had called for the return on social media. Aldi describes the flavour as rich, fragrant and “umami”-packed, and it sells for £1.25 for a 150g bag. The price is positioned as £2.65 cheaper than M&S’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil alternative. The range also includes Black Truffle, Beef Wellington, Seared Prawn, Pigs in Blankets and Turkey and Stuffing, among others.
