The Hanover Insurance Group (THG) Q2 Earnings: What To Expect
The Hanover Insurance Group (NYSE:THG) is set to announce earnings Tuesday afternoon. Ahead of the release, the company’s last quarter showed a mixed picture: revenue rose 5.1% year on year to $1.70 billion, but it missed analysts’ revenue expectations. The firm posted an EPS result that beat estimates, while book value per share fell short materially. For this quarter, the market expects revenue growth of 4.6% year on year, broadly in line with the 5.5% increase from the same period last year. Analysts have largely reconfirmed their forecasts over the past 30 days. Over the last two years, THG has missed Wall Street’s revenue expectations multiple times. In the segment, First American delivered 15% revenue growth and RLI reported revenues up 5%. THG is up 1.6% over the past month, with an average analyst price target of $216.25 versus a share price of $218.11.
