What You Need to Know Ahead of Campbell's Earnings Release
Campbell’s Company (CPB), headquartered in Camden, New Jersey, is expected to release fiscal fourth-quarter 2026 earnings “in the near term.” Analysts project profit of $0.40 per share on a diluted basis, down 35.5% from $0.62 a year earlier. For the full year, consensus calls for EPS of $2.18, down 26.6% versus fiscal 2025, and EPS of $2.00 in fiscal 2027—an 8.3% year-over-year decline. CPB has beaten estimates in three of the last four quarters. Shares have lagged the S&P 500 over 52 weeks, down 33.3%, and also underperformed the XLP consumer staples ETF. CFO Mark Cunfer cited near-full hedging for 2026, with inflation risks in the first half of 2027. The Street’s rating is moderately bearish: 13 “Hold,” 1 “Moderate Sell,” and 6 “Strong Sell.”
