Tokenized Crypto Stocks Fell to 21% Share as Chip Names Climbed | Market Editor's Pick
Tokenized crypto stocks shrank as chip-related assets gained share, with the tokenized market’s composition shifting toward semiconductors and memory names. A report cited that tokenized stocks reached $1.7 billion in market value by the end of June, up from $329 million a year earlier, a roughly fivefold increase, driven mainly by new issuance rather than price gains. The category’s crypto-linked portion fell from 79% of market capitalization to 21%, while “other” listings rose to 35% from 15% over the same period. The fastest-growing segment was AI and chip stocks, climbing from 0.3% to 15.5% of the tokenized stock market in one year. Tokenized Micron and SanDisk led chip tokens, with combined market caps around $120 million and $102 million respectively, both above tokenized Nvidia near $85 million, according to CoinGecko data.
