Urgent alert to shoppers as supermarket puddings 'may contain glass'

Shoppers who bought supermarket puddings are being told not to eat them because they “may contain glass.” The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issued the warning after confirming Arla Foods Ltd is recalling a range of Arla Protein Pudding products. The affected items are sold at retailers including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons. Customers can return the products to the point of purchase for a full refund, with no receipt required. The recall covers three 200g lines—Chocolate, Salted Caramel, and Vanilla Cookie—each linked to specific best-before dates ranging from January 11 to January 25, with dates extending to February 6, 2027. Retailers will display notices explaining what to do next.
