Angel Reese Turns to Tease Valkyries Bench After WNBA Broadcaster Praises Her "Big-Time" Finish

Angel Reese turned an early statement into a celebration in Game 6 of the WNBA Finals, helping the Atlanta Dream secure a big first-half lead in a must-win matchup against the Minnesota Valkyries. With 5:41 left in the first quarter, Reese converted a pass from Allisha Gray for a layup through contact, even as Kiah Stokes defended at the rim. After the basket, Reese turned toward the Valkyries bench and clapped directly in their direction. Atlanta jumped to a 10–5 lead and cruised to a 32–15 advantage in the opening quarter, with Reese scoring four points plus two free throws. The Dream then built a 46–26 halftime lead, with Reese adding seven points over the two quarters.
