Bankers' fire power on show

Bankers’ firepower on show highlights how Banker’s stable dominated Sungai Besi barrier trials on June 23, two days after another win on June 21. In Trial 2, Banker’s Angel, ridden by Joe Kamaruddin, recorded an easy win, while newcomers helped Bankers secure the last two heats with Banker’s Bonus and Banker’s Angel. The June 23 results also featured Banker’s Dividend-Action running 2-3 to Ye Man in the first, with the jockey not able to fully convert. Trainer Johnny Lim, who will send the two victors to a Restricted Maiden over 1,200m on June 28, said the horses bring early gate speed. Lim also outlined the stable’s gradual rise since the May 2025 appearance of Banker’s Eightyone and Banker’s Princess, reaching 37 winners at the halfway point.
