Barcelona superstar tops Vinicius Jr. in this key attacking metric

Lamine Yamal is putting Barcelona’s attack in a class of its own, with a dribbling output that sets him apart from both teammates and top rivals. SPORT reports that since Hansi Flick took charge, Yamal has completed 493 dribbles, averaging 5.1 per 90 minutes. That total is more than four times the number of completed dribbles by Barcelona’s closest teammate, Raphinha, who has 117, followed by Pedri (112) and Fermin Lopez (111). In the Champions League, Yamal led successful dribbles in each of the previous two seasons—56 in 2024-25 and 46 in 2025-26—and already has seven against Feyenoord this term. Compared with Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr., Yamal’s 493 dribbles outpace Vinicius’ 276, and he has created more scoring chances (235 vs. 216).
