Bournemouth football team win national tournament at St George's Park
Bournemouth’s South Coast Ballers Under-7s won the ESF Grand Finale, marking a standout result for youth football on the national stage. The team were crowned champions at St George’s Park, the venue for England’s national football teams, after competing in the ESF Grand Finale. Head coach and founder Connor Clayton said the players demonstrated bravery and determination from the first whistle to the final, while also showing a strong love for the game. The ESF Grand Finale brings together top youth sides from across the country, after more than 1,200 teams entered ESF events in the UK. Only the best progressed to the final event. The Ballers finished among the top six percent of participating teams, and Clayton added that their conduct throughout the tournament matched their on-field success.
